Looking for some extra-curricular activities for your school or youth group? Well, look no further as we have adventures galore to offer!
Perfect for an end-of-year treat, a teambuilding challenge or an evening out with your youth group. Led by an instructor, you’ll learn the basics of the activity and then you’ll get stuck in with games and challenges. All equipment provided.

About the Activities
Water Sports
If you are after some fun on the water, a chance to learn a new skill, boost self-esteem and a chance to bond with classmates, then why not try our water activities.
Stand-up Paddleboarding
Stand up and paddle on our inflatable boards, good for balance and core strength!
Giant Paddle Boarding
A great way to work on your teamwork and communication, with 8 people paddling together on one giant paddleboard
Kayaking
A traditional method of paddling using double bladed paddles. We have a choice of single or double kayaks available for you to enjoy. These maneuverable craft make it easy for high octane games and races
Canoeing
Traditional Canadian style paddling with open canoes using single bladed paddles and working in pairs. These are slower pace making for calm and tranquil trips round the lake.
Sailing
An introductory session to the art of sailing in our Topaz dinghy’s, perfect for beginners and those who like to use wind power over paddling!
Raft building
Work as a team to build a raft out of barrels and poles before testing your knot work as you float the raft on the lake

Climbing
Choose from our outdoor climbing tower or our new indoor climbing wall to test your nerve for heights!
Leap of Faith
A chance to challenge your fears with a leap into the unknown to catch our trapeze at height!
Crate stacking
Reach new heights with your team-mate by building your own tower to climb out of crates! How high will you get?
Jacobs Ladder
Work together to help each other climb the ever-widening rungs on the ladder, you might need to climb up each other to achieve this tricky challenge!
All Aboard
A test of trust, nerve and teamwork. Can you reach the top of the telegraph pole with a platform just big enough for four people to stand, and lean back?
Zip wire
Climb up then zip off! (additional instructor required)
Archery
Will you strike gold? Test your hand-eye co-ordination with this fun sport.
Fencing
Learn the etiquette of sword fighting with our energetic fencing sessions.
Bushcraft
Will your team survive our woodland challenges? Light fires and build yourself a shelter before the ‘storm’ comes! You will be rewarded with a sugary treat!
Orienteering
Test your map reading skills and sense of direction with one of our orienteering courses. Choose from our accessible course, Lea Heath or Countryside Park course.
Navigation Skills
The ability to read the world around us to find our way has been an essential life skill for millennia. As people become more reliant upon technology this awareness of the signs and cues given to us by nature is being slowly lost. This experiential session aims to get the students to open their senses to the natural world around them to identify different natural navigation markers to help them find their way.
Pioneering
A perfect activity for encouraging STEM subjects and team work. Students collaborate to make structures to support the whole team using only wooden poles and ropes!
Disc Golf
Test hand-eye co-ordination, patience and perseverance with this fun twist on golf using frisbees and baskets. Our course is on Lea Heath and combines open spaces, challenging shots through trees and avoiding ponds.
