About Reading road pond
Reading Road Pond is a small site comprising a meadow, mature trees, scrub and two ponds. Nestled within a housing estate, it is a small conservation haven for wildlife, including birds, newts and insects.
The grass in the meadow is cut and removed yearly to stimulate wildflower growth, and support the associated wildlife, such as butterflies.
There is no formal access to this site.
