Location Warren House Road, Wokingham, RG40 5RE
About
Kentwood Meadow is a SANG (suitable alternative natural greenspace) on the edge of Wokingham and Binfield. Previously farmland, it is now maintained as a hay meadow, cut once a year at the end of the Summer, providing excellent habitat, hunting grounds and nectar sources for local insects, small mammals and birds. It features 3 habitat ponds, and newly planted woodland, all viewable from the natural hoggin footpath which snakes through the meadow in a circular walk.
Parking facilities
There are no parking facilities at Kentwood Meadows.
Accessibility
There are rough hard-surfaced paths throughout the site, with no steep inclines. The site is wheelchair accessible to users with sturdy chairs (due to the rough nature of path surfaces).
