These are week long courses run during the summer holidays. A great way to pick up a new skill, be active and enjoy the outdoors.

What to expect

Our courses are designed to provide a comprehensive and enjoyable sailing experience for teens, with hands-on learning in a variety of boats. Here’s what you can expect:

Boats Used:

  • Topper Topaz
  • RS Neo
  • Topper Argo
  • Topper Xenon

Course Structure:

  • Small Groups: Each course is conducted in small groups with a ratio of six students to one instructor, ensuring personalised attention and a safe learning environment.
  • Minimal Indoor Time: We maximise time on the water, minimising indoor sessions to keep the experience engaging and practical.

Equipment:

  • We provide wetsuits, helmets, and buoyancy aids as needed at the start of the course. These items will be in your care for the duration of the course and must be returned for disinfection at the end.

Example of a day from the week long teen programme:

Day Schedule:

  • 10:00 AM: Signing in and meeting your instructor
  • 10:30 AM: Issuing equipment and getting changed
  • 11:00 AM: Land drills, before quickly heading afloat
  • 12:30 PM: Lunch
  • 1:00 PM: Back afloat
  • 3:30 PM: De-rigging, packing away, and getting changed
  • 4:00 PM: Debrief and Certificates
  • 4:30 PM: Signing out
